What a RoArINg good day :)...

Hellooo everybody, as usual I'm at work, and I'm looking at this kooky picture of a lion with this huge mane wearing a mardi gras mask, (I have to scan that and post it here for you too see), and I'm thinking this is gonna be my mascot! Yeah! This bodacious big cat is Tristan&Persia's new mascot. Now I just need a name for him...something powerful, fresh, new........?

So why is today a good day? I'll tell you why...I feel super fit today as a result of my effort at the gym last night and I'm sticking to naturally healthy eating habits. NO not "dieting". You only live once, so why not at least try to treat your body well. NOt to mention MY HAIR looks great! :) is that girly or what?! It's just a rarity for my curls to do anything other then frizz and today its glam all the way baby. I've also managed to get on top of our latest project test plan at work, and I'm determined to finish a final working draft by the end of the day and thennnn its off to meet & greet some new friends with dinner + movie (courtesy of RIM).

Well I almost slept in today, maybe I should have since the day hasn't been all that anyways. My manager asked me to make a whole list of revisions to a file she handed me and guess what? That's not even the original document I gave her. I started editing the document I have and all of a sudden its like -wait a minute!- This isn't even what I wrote. So she changed the document I submitted without informing me that changes were made, and this document was sent back for revisions, sent back to me. Isn't that nice.

Dark Secrets of SAT

This is an article I ran too when researching SAT, very eye-opening for those who don't know:

Interview w/ John Yoo: Professor at Boalt Law School, University of California, Berkeley

"You had talked a little bit about the 75 percent Asian and white (student body). What do you think of maybe a progressively dominant Asian population on campus at Berkeley?"

"I know that some Asian community leaders in California are actually concerned that there are going to be too many Asians at Berkeley, because they think there's going to be a backlash against Asians in the state by other minority groups or by whites. If these community leaders out there really believe that they want to shortchange their children's education in order to achieve some kind of racial balance or harmony, they can easily live it out in their own lives. The thing that bothers me is that they're trying to impose it on other parents who want their own kids to have the best education possible. And I think that's really wrong. That's a lot of the reason that Asian parents took the risks and hardships to ensure that their kids could come to the United States and have a good education. They aren't available in Asia. I'm from Korea. The difficulties in getting a good university education there are very high. I know that's one of the reasons why my parents came to the United States. And I think it's terrible that there are people in our own community who want to restrict the ability of people to send their kids to the best schools because they're worried about some far-off hypothetical future where there's going to be racial hostility or violence, just because there are too many Asians at Berkeley.

And the thing is, we don't ask these kinds of questions in other areas of life. We don't worry that there are too many blacks playing basketball because otherwise there might be a backlash against blacks, because there aren't enough whites or Asians or Jews playing basketball. It's only in this sort of educational area that you see this argument being made. And I really find it disturbing.

If you want to have a different university which is open to everybody -- an open access college university system -- then you can say everybody has a chance and the representation should be about proportional, because the point of that university is to let everybody in. But that's not the way the UC system is designed. "

Hey I'm at work now, and I'm gonna try to spend today figuring out Apache Servers. Who knew (I sure didn't) that I was also going to be the server admin, and the funny thing is I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING about APACHE Servers, so if anybody knows some good references please help me out here :>

SO I still haven't received my security deposit back and I'm so angry with these stupid idiots. ~SIGH~ I should have known better, after all I use to work for them. I can't believe they've already messed up my account balance! These people suck, not to mention the terrible customer service who doesn't really DO ANYTHING... To be honest with you people the only way to get what you want from customer service is to be a complete unforgiving merciless bitch. Honestly. I'm gonna have a heart attack if these people keep pissing me off like this, for god's sake if my account is automated then how can they CHARGE me referral credits instead of CREDITING them to me!!?!? This is sooo ridiculously stupid.
