First day back from an exceptionally beautiful & serene weekend in Montreal. I dunno if this happened accidentaly or intentionally but it seemed as though the entire time there was this "Wonderland" theme that all started with the hotel.

Where have all the flowers gone? Why won't summer just get here already =(
Today has been a typical day at work, on the side however I've embarked on a journey in ASP.NET... Now THAT's exciting! I have soo many queries.. "Will I love this new fangled mangled language?" and more importantly "Will it love ME?!". So I have this big phat PHAT book sitting at home waiting for me to read its many many pages of endearing words, have I started yet? NO. Am I going to start reading any time soon? naah I don't think so. It'll just have to wait until after my wonderfully tres magnifique trip to Montreal, or as I like to call it "Le week-end MONT-Reaaal". A big whooping mountain of reality, as is translated (hee hee I'm just kidding my french isn't THAT bad), is just what I need, living in hickidy-boo town here has dullened my senses, made me apathetic to bad cuisine. I live and breathe the words "in Waterloo there's nothing to do". So yes friends I am taking a break from my daily doings of working, gym-ing, eating and blogging in order to dabble in old world charm, fine cuisine and art viewing.
Who am I kidding? I'm going SHOPPING!!! =)
This will be my third straight week of splurging, hard-earned money (not always earned by me), well this just means I might have to admit something, a gross self-destructive malady may have afflicated me... causing me to throw away every penny.... if anyone is reading this please... help me with my disease....send me some more money, winters almost over people and I still haven't bought my Mackage jacket yet, this is an emergency!!!
Today is our 1 year anniversary =) , my honey surprised me and drove up to Waterloo with Champagne and hand delievered twelve long stem roses and some sushi! My paper present for the one year; a chocolate fur throw to keep me warm and snuggly, and a framed picture of the two of us when we went horseback riding. The best part was just seeing him!
